Global Citizen is headquartered in New York, with offices in Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom. The organization was co-founded by Hugh Evans, Simon Moss, Wei Soo in 2008.The Global Citizen platform was co-founded with Ryan Gall and Riot House in 2012.

How it works

Our mission is to build the largest possible movement of global citizens taking action to solve the world’s biggest challenges.

After joining Global Citizen, you can take action on GlobalCitizen.org. Every time you do, you’re helping to solve big challenges around the world – like access to clean water and education, equality for girls and women, and more. Actions include signing petitions, sharing messages on social media, writing letters to politicians, or calling their offices about issues affecting the world’s poor.

When you take action, you earn points. You can use these points to enter drawings for Rewards, like tickets to concerts, comedy shows, sporting events, and more.
